Hazel Green Elementary’s Care Closet opened in 2023 and serves grades Pre-K through 5th grade. This closet was established in memory of Kristin Masterski, a Madison County Schools social worker who went above and beyond every day to show her students that she loved and cherished them. Kristin was the co-founder of the school’s Pop-Up Shop, which functioned as its care closet for many years and provided much-needed resources for students throughout the community. After Kristin’s passing, The Caring Link established the Kristin Masterski Memorial Closet to provide HGES students with essential items as we strive to live up to her legacy of love and kindness.
