How We Help
Students whose basic needs remain unmet will struggle to reach their full potential. The Caring Link works to ensure that these students are able to succeed and grow alongside their peers by establishing in-school Care Closets to supply essential items and providing enrichment programs to under-resourced students. We know that when a student feels prepared for the day–when they feel truly cared for–they can become the best version of themselves.
Care Closets
Our primary work centers on establishing and maintaining Care Closets within local school buildings. These closets provide teachers and staff with immediate access to items that their students may need.

This year-round school-readiness program supports students during back-to-school and beyond. It provides essential items as well as collaborative resources to give hope to kids by showing them that they are worthy of love, care, and bright futures.

Do you remember shopping at the school book fair? Unfortunately, not every student is able to do so. This is why we developed the Book Fairy program, to help students grow their home libraries and self-confidence.

We are also committed to helping underprivileged students offset the costs of participating in extracurricular and school-based activities so that they can grow as leaders within their schools.

By providing classroom medical kits to our partner schools, we ensure that minor first-aid issues can be handled in class without the loss of valuable lesson time.

When students are hungry, they find it incredibly hard to concentrate on learning. Our class snack bins allow all students the opportunity to refuel their brains and finish the day strong.

Every young adult should have the opportunity to attend their high school prom without the cost of formalwear being an obstacle. Our Pop-Up Prom Shop helps students look and feel their best.

The majority of students sent to PACE are also students living in poverty, which makes providing the required uniform difficult. We help to set a better path forward through uniform assistance.

Whether they want to dress up as Spiderman, a princess, or a scary monster, children love finding their perfect Trick-or-Treat costume. Our Halloween BOO-tique provides a way for all kids, regardless of budget, to find a costume that makes the holiday fun and inclusive.
